Cool, no, Super Cool shop alert!
The shop has such a warm feel and through many lay out changes I think they have finally found the one that directs the flow allowing the visitor to cruise through and see all Thalia St has to offer.

Here you’ll find brands like KookBox, Captain Fin Co., RAEN, VANS, Ando, Brixton, Hippy Tree, INSIGHT and Toddland as well as many other cool little brands. Also find surfboards by Swift, KookBox, Wegener, Junod, Gato Heroi and others.

Deep on the coast protected by the lush hills of Laguna this great little destination is a must for surf travelers and people with a bug for shopping. The staff is super cool and knowledgeable and extremely helpful. It’s a hip corner that also includes the world famous SURF GALLERY.Nearby grab food next store at the healthy sandwich shop that has been there 17 years or at The Stand across the street. You can also find surf about a ½ block away at T Street.

Thalia Street seems to put together events of all sorts from brand parties to cause related events. They often partner with The Surf Gallery next door. They share a common wall a set of French doors joins the two uber cool establishments. Local dedication and local flavor fill both these businesses, they truly are a part of the community and welcome people from other communities with a smile and in some cases a Sapporo or a Red Bull. Like this recent event where Toms Shoes sold Customized Toms Shoes – by Meredith Ambruso and Theo Hetherington as well as a BBQ out front of the shop. Live music performed by The Pawnshop Kings and a showing of famous vintage films by Spyder Wills and a short film about Toms Shoes.

Thalia St is a great hang and a must visit destination on your California surf trip list.
